My friend AmyClaire got married. She and I have a bond over our (questionably unhealthy) love for food. We get together and totally geek out over the Food Network and share recipes and eat our way into comas. In fact, it is because of her that my popularity rate went up. Thank you for the Dark Chocolate Orange Cheesecake recipe. So, when I got her wedding invitation I jumped at the chance to go. No, not just because I wanted to see what she was serving! Gosh, you are always jumping to conclusions. But the food was superb.
She hails from very fancy folk. So we saddled up our kids in fancy duds.
The best pic I got of Ethan. He's eating.

We were supposed to go on a hike at Enchanted Rock. It turned out that everyone had the same idea and the park? Was.at.capacity. Can you believe it? I have never seen a state park at capacity before. They stopped letting people in. Oh well, with that kind of crowd, it probably wouldn't have been much fun. But there I was all decked out in my hiking gear with no where to go.
So we all went to a winery. We were in Fredericksberg anyway. Yes, I was under dressed. No, I didn't care at all after a couple of glasses of wine.
I kept pestering our group to go hiking and this is where they took me. Under a bridge that goes over the Guadalupe Rio. Which is precisely why I prefer hiking in horrible weather. No crowds.
My pestering days are over.
Bike Rodeo at school.
Not so good at the riding in a straight line. There's always next year.

YAY! for Weddings. Congratulations to your friend,. And YAY! for having a bike rider. I wish we had bike rodeos here.
Look at them all dressed up. I love it. Happy occasion. Good food. Congrats to her.
My seven year old has yet to balance on two wheels...I should get on that. :)
Great pictures of the kids. My fave is the dressed up grins.
The boys clean-up nice!
And seriously, a park can be at capacity. There are no words to express my shock (and disappointment that you didn't get to go).
How did the fair go? Was it over the weekend?
