My husband recently compared blogging to dungeons and dragons. He said both were a way for really geeky people to socialize with other geeky people. I don't know, maybe he's right ...
i don't know what this is but it looks like fun! bowl yoga perhaps?
the little one got involved
bowl headstand
bowl phone or bowl seashell
bowl bunny carrier
(you can see that he was digging through my cabinets for a bowl)

I am sick sick sick. Feel like gunk on the bottom of your shoe. Both of my kids have green stuff running out of their noses but other than that they seem fine. I skipped bible class today. This is a big deal since it is usually a highlight of my week. And Gabriel's week.
Yesterday my MIL took G to ABC club for me (at the library). THANK YOU!!!! That she him allowed me and Ethan to take a super long nap together. G ended up spending most of the day with her. I hope this is the last day of this bug. My boss/friend got a sub for my yoga and pilates classes tonight that I was supposed to teach. This makes me very sad. Another highlight of my week is teaching.
But Beth and I saw Slumdog Millionaire last weekend and when I think of that I can hardly complain about having a little bug that keeps me cooped up in the house with miniature psychos.
This morning I tried napping on the couch in the loft while the kids watched cartoons. Every time I drifted off one of two things happened:
1. someone would chuck a hot wheels at my face.
2. someone would quietly, like a mouse, climb onto the arm of the sofa above my head and then body slam me.
i love my boys, but would this be happening if they were girls?
G has taken to walking around the house singing Hey There Delilah by the Plain White T's.
Thus ends my random thoughts.

Nope, I think that's definitely a boy thing. They sure are cute though!
Thanks for playing! Happy Tuesday!
Oh, yes... I have all girls, and the body slamming and toy throwing and all the "attributed to boys" actions were all performed on me.... over and over and over again.
I think it's just the kid, and how active they are.
I hope you feel better soon. It's hard when you are not feeling at your best.
Hmm - bowls.
Sorry you feel like dung. Feel better.
Hmmm. I think that third (bowl)picture may actually be Bowl Twister, tho' the Bowl Bunny Carrier is my fave! Also, in my experience (1 girl, 2 boys) no. No, that would not be happening if they were girls. And I love The Plain White T's, especially "Hey There, Delilah." :)
P.S. My blogging is not the same as my husband playing D&D. (Which he does. Every Friday. With the same group of friends he's played with since he was 8.) The difference?! I (we) are not pretending to be a half-elf mage that's infiltrated a dangerous thieve's guild when we blog! I'm just sayin'...
I'm impressed that you can ever nap around your kids. Mine would get into trouble in 1.2 seconds if I tried to relax.
