RTT: weekend images

Friday we had lunch with GG at Peter Piper Pizza.

GG with the boys

If that weren't enough, we left the pizza place for the zoo with my friend Amy and her sons - the five year, Aiden, is one of Gabe's BFF's.

Aiden had an obsession with the map

I took two pictures like this - in one G looked silly - in the other E looked silly. This is my attempt at photoshopping the two together (Aiden looked great in both!)

Sunday - church! We planned on having service outside during the sunrise. But we experienced some freak rain that day. So we moved it indoors.

the hilltop where our original service was planned to be

this is last summer's nameless intern and his lovely "bride elect"

Hayley playing with Jason

my MIL got a little rowdy with the pancakes.

Beth is fishing a pancake out of the light fixture.

even our easter egg hunt was indoors

the kids couldn't leave the piano alone

i tried to get some cute shots of G and E but they were being too silly / stubborn

at lunch time primrose and rohan came over to do some work for their visa renewal, i made a bunny cake.

thus ends the weekends festivities. no cascarones, no pinata, no big family dinner, no bickering. i hope next year is more traditional!

By the way, I love the photo where your little one has the ooooo shape to his mouth. Clearly he was entranced with whatever it was out there!

And, CPAP is his snoring prevention machine. (mask, hose, water, filter- a whole ventilation system)

Looks like a fabulous weekend. Pizza, monkeys, and a shredded coconut bunny cake. What more could you ask for? Great photos.

An outdoor service would have been so neat! It's too bad the weather didn't cooperate!
