Sometimes when she sleeps, one of her ears sticks up straight. She looks like she is flying.

It makes me so happy to see her give up all consciousness and flop down wherever she is to nap after a long run. I fell like I have done my job as her loving owner.

It makes me very discouraged when she is boisterous and full of energy after a long run. I feel like a failure and maybe could have gone that extra mile (literally) if not for me, then for Sheila.

When I have a treat in my hand and make her sit and wait for it, she looks like she is secretly negotiating with me, "give me that treat, and I'll lick your toes. You know you want me to."

what a cute dog! and i almost understood all of the french. i guess i'm not as rusty as i thought. i used to be fluent but haven't spoken it in years.
I sort of want to steal her from you. You wouldn't miss her terribly would you? She's adorable.
She is so cute, every time I see her I want to snuggle her a little bit.
We have a Foxhound mix that is a ball of energy. We can run her on the treadmill for an hour and she's still full of energy.
Aw, I totally don't feel like I'm doing our poor dog justice anymore. In my defense, her knees are really bad so she CAN'T exercise much, but still...

She's such a cutie. My dog used to love licking bare feet. I want to say that it grossed me out, but it was actually kind of soothing. I was trying like heck to translate the French sentences, since I took two years of French in high school, but apparently it didn't stick. Something about a dog's mouth. :(
